About Me

IMG_5971_jpg.jpg

My name is Alba McVicar Reyes (she/her). I am a 23-year-old, half-Spanish half-Scottish researcher and writer, and I recently graduated from a MSc in Gender Studies (Applied) the University of Stirling after completing my BA (Hons) in Journalism Studies and Film & Media in 2023.

I love to read, write in diverse styles and watch films and TV. As a Feminist and Queer researcher and writer, I am especially interested in the artistic exploration and reconstruction of post-modern identities and key social issues through film and other media. I am also greatly interested in contemporary multidisciplinary research projects and elevating their findings through community outreach.

I can offer a wide range of writing skills including copywriting, proofreading, editing, creative writing, blog writing, journalistic writing, academic writing, and transcribing, among others. If you have a project you think I could help with, please don't hesitate to contact me! My inbox is always open.
